Yuko Narushima is a researcher and journalist, specialising in forced migration and human rights. She has worked on the Syria conflict for various NGOs and UN agencies, travelling extensively to camps in Iraq and Turkey to interview refugees and ensure appropriate humanitarian action. Prior to joining Concord, Yuko worked for the Asia Division of Human Rights Watch in Australia. She is an award-winning journalist, reporting previously for the Sydney Morning Herald, Bloomberg News and Reuters. Yuko earned her MA in Human Rights Studies at Columbia University, focusing on labour trafficking by diplomats.
